Nelson Petroleum has implemented two SmartLogix systems since 2006.
The first is our SmarTank system, which allows us to monitor our customers bulk tanks and make on-time deliveries that prevent you from running out of important products. The second system is our SmarTruck system. This system allows us to monitor our trucks on a minute by minute basis and gives us the capability of making changes to deliveries and rerouting trucks to better serve our customers.

The Smartruck onboard computer and meter system allows us to be very accurate in the amount of fuel that we deliver to our customers. Each delivery is completed with a Smartruck generated ticket that reads directly from the meter and can be presented to the customer so that they know exactly how many gallons they have recieved. This system reduces the possibility for human error in our delivery process and provides our customers with the best service possible.
Furthermore, this system can be specifically tailored to our customers who own and operate a fleet of vehicles. This unique system allows us to scan your vehicles using a barcode that is placed directly on the vehicle. Once this barcode is in place on a vehicle our drivers can program that barcode to read the vehicles license plate or unit number. This process then allows our customers to identify how much fuel each vehicle or piece of equipment is using over a given time period as well as the total number of gallons used by the entire fleet.
